Hi Loves!
This post is where I’ll be sharing the photos from my second night at El Paseo Fashion Week . First of all, the city of Palm Desert knows how to treat a girl right!. Palm Desert is about a four hour drive from Phoenix and has so much to offer. The restaurant scene alone can keep you busy for days. For me Fashion is why I made the trip! I’m still so happy that this experience crossed my laptop lol!
I asked my friend and photographer, Jacqueline from Jacquelines Wonderland to join me for an amazing adventure! Ok so remember from the Palm Desert Food & Wine Festival post, where I had mentioned cute little Luigi (the Silky Terrier) or otherwise known as the frontman for Casa Luigi Prosecco !?! Well he will show up very soon and keep reading.
So I ordered my dress to celebrate being invited to this event and it was even more perfect than I imagined it!
I LOVED the asymmetrical hemline and the actual fabric of this dress. The fabric had a subtle texturing print to it.
I think the skirt would have been perfect for dancing!
The night was a beautiful Spring night and perfect to watch a fashion runway show!
This little white box clutch is perfect for elevating your look!
Dainty necklace was I that I needed after pairing the dress with these amazing statement earrings!
So this is Luigi! Yes finally haha! He is the Silky Terrier who is the face of a Prosecco brand.
Love that this little guy loves fashion as much as I do!
Or maybe he wanted to walk the runway?!
So onto the Finale night of the El Paseo Fashion week! Ralph Rucci was the feature designer of the evening. Each look had layers of different textiles and yes the majority of this looks were black.
This look alone has been styled with suede boots, leather gloves and cut-outs on what from my seat looked like a crepe fabric.
The architecture of the cuts of fabric here are so precise.
This stunning jacket was a favorite of mine. Look at the sleeve detail with the chain metal pieces at the cuffs!
The models all must of had an interesting stylist working the show lol. Their hair was slicked back with almost a like saran wrap covering it.
The fashion at this fashion week was truly impressive to witness in person. If you at all love fashion consider making a trip to Palm Desert in the fall. I really hope to be there again!
I LOVED this dress so much. Now I need an invite to New Year’s in Paris to wear this number to haha.
This was the last look that he sent down the runway that night, and I have to say I was disappointed that he did not send all the looks back out for a second look, as most shows do. After his show, Ralph Rucci himself came out to take questions from the audience though.
Well, I really hope that you liked my recap of my time at El Paseo Fashion Week. Keep a look out for my review of our stay at Hotel Paseo later this week.
