My Stay in Palm Desert-Part Two

Palm Desert Food & Wine Festival 2018

Hello Lovelies!

I am so excited to share the second post all about my stay in Palm Desert. I still cannot believe that I got to escape my daily life and get all dressed up to view some of the most beautiful fashion designs. Yes, I went to Palm Desert for the fashion, but I stayed for the food lol. That Saturday morning we were invited to the Palm Desert Food & Wine Festival. Such a great event! The first tent was packed with vendors selling herbs, tasting cocktails and even a flower crown station!

I chose today’s look by pairing a lace tank with my new Vici Collection pants! I loved the Spring vibe with little pink rose blooms on them.

The food stations were inside and in the garden area too. The JW Marriott was serving the most delicious tacos!

They had a desert with fresh strawberries and a sprinkling of PopRocks!

The Malfy Gin Company was serving light Gin & Tonic cocktails perfect for a warm Spring day. This gin is distilled with lemons and juniper berries.

There were so many different foods to sample from. I was worried about not being able to eat anything being gluten free, but most places were really prepared.

The Shops at The Paseo have a huge event space to hold both the Food & Wine Festival by day and Fashion Week by night!

The mountains looked so pretty and they are a lot bigger than here in Phoenix!

We met the owners of Casa Luigi, Cynthia and her husband Wolfgang, seriously the nicest couple. They are from Austria and have created my newest favorite bubbly! They have five different flavors. Their little Silky Terrier Luigi is the spokesman for the label. Luigi will make an appearance very soon, in the next post I promise!

The flavors are as follows: Secco Bianco, is the clear Prosecco and the Secco Rosé. They also have three sparkling white wine cocktails: Secco Hugo, made with Elderflower, lemon and mint; Secco Imperial, made with Lotus Flower; and finally my personal favorite, Secco Veneziano made with orange flavor and bitters (think Aperol). Yes I got to sample a little of each haha!

This was so much fun, but it was also the El Paseo Fashion Week Finale Night and we had to get ready! I’m busy writing up the recap of the Ralph Rucci runway show. I cannot wait to show you what I wore that night and of course little Luigi!
