    City Chic Crop Top

    Hello Lovelies,

As I planned to head to a cute brunch spot in the heart of Old Town Cottonwood, Arizona last weekend. I knew I wanted to wear my super cute new crop top from Tobi.

This crop top is so cute! I love the asymmetrical front and back style. I wanted to find a pant that would best compliment the unique shape of the top.

These high waisted linen pants are my new favorite! I love the front bow and the ruffle detail at the waist. SO super darling right?!?

I grabbed my go to Jennifer Janesko gold bar threaders to add a little bling to my outfit and a simple black clutch.

    Crop Top: Tobi

    High Waisted Pant: Balia Boutique

    Earrings: Jennifer Janesko

Clutch: black one sold out, but other colors Target

    Booties: Vince Camuto

    Sunnies: Warby Parker

Photography: Siara Rochell and Rachel Trujeque

There so many funny images of me in the middle of the road. I’m sure the residents of Cottonwood thought I was crazy lol. My favorite brunch spot is up the road with tons of gluten free options is The Red Rooster Cafe. Oh and the best part $5 mimosas!

  • Grecian Inspired Maxi

    Grecian Inspired Maxi

    Hello Loves!

I recently went back to Cottonwood, AZ to visit. It is such a pretty area and just the cutest town. I have to admit that when I received my beautiful maxi dress I could totally picture in my head how I wanted to shoot it. This gorgeous dress is from Tobi

This gorgeous area is a walking trail at the end of Main Street that winds around all the way to the other side of town. Its actually called the Jail Trail. The parking lot at the trail head is where the old jail was located.

This was such a beautiful area, but as my luck would have it there had been a horrible wind storm the day before and a huge tree had been uprooted blocking the path. We had to climb through the trunk space and all sorts of woodland creature were scurrying around. Yes a whole lot of screeching from my fellow city blogger and me, but not from my tough chick Cottonwood friend lol.

And yes I hiked down the trail in these!! Actually so cozy and sturdy haha! My new favorite open toed bootie!

    Dress: Tobi

    Booties: Vici Dolls

    Cuff: old Lauren Conrad; Similar

Photography: Siara Rochell and Rachel Trujeque

I love this small town. It was so much exploring that day. I was so happy hanging out and showing off the cutest spots. I would love to go back with a bigger group of bloggers and do a big fun styled shoot! Anyone interested?!?

  • Blue Tobi Jumpsuit

    Blue Tobi Jumpsuit

    Hi Loves!

So I recently was invited to a brunch hosted by Shane Co. at the gorgeous resort, The Royal Palms. It was the most perfect day. This is still my favorite resort in town. It has a more boutique feel, yet very tropical too. I immediately knew I wanted to wear my new blue jumpsuit from Tobi

This dark blue jumpsuit is super chic. I love the more tapered leg and the zipper detail at the bottom. I really love the ease of movement and the overall construction of the fabric. This is actually my third Tobi jumpsuit. I love how they fit me so much!

I styled very modern simple jewelry with this jumpsuit. This long gold tassel choker necklace has been sitting around waiting for the perfect outfit lol.  I also paired my new favorite Jennifer Janesko earrings. They have a sleek modern bar feel to them.

  • Hask Blueberry Greek Yogurt Hair Care

Hask Blueberry Greek Yogurt Hair Care

    Hi Loves!

I am so super happy to tell you all about this new hair care collection. I was chosen to try Hask’s newest line and I’m in love! See all that HASK has to offer here.

The new Greek Yogurt Collection comes in three types depending on your hair’s needs. First, is the Fig and Honey for much needed hydration. Then there is the Pomegranate and Cherry for color protection, and the one I chose is the Blueberry and Aćai for overall repair (which lord knows I so need).

The blueberries are full of antioxidants, which helps restore your dry and damaged hair. The Aćai berry contains essential vitamins to prevent breakage. I don’t typically style my hair every day for work to give it a break, but I still get split ends so fast.

The craziest thing about these tubes is that is has two sides or chambers. The one half is the greek yogurt, which helps add moisture. So when you squeeze the shampoo tube, the fruit side ( the other side) and the yogurt side both come out and get mixed together when you lather your hair!! So cool and futuristic huh?!?

The conditioner is for daily use. Leave it on for about 2 min, for my hair like 10 min lol. Oh and I almost forgot the smell is like a blueberry pie, so good.

The deep conditioner works better for my coarse hair type as a daily conditioner. No one else would need to use this more than maybe once a week though. And as with all Hask products, these are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten (something I look for being Celiac) & drying alcohol (crazy huh that products add this when they are supposed to be helping to add moisture).

So have I peaked your interest or at least made you hungry haha!?! You can find the new Hask Greek Yogurt Collection exclusively at Walgreens for now SHOP HERE.

  • Spring Florals

    Spring Florals

    Hello Loves!!

I am super excited ok probably a bit too giddy with all the pretty florals I’ve been seeing lately. Its so nice to see everything blooming and I feel like this Spring the patterns reflect a happy vibe!

This was my first time visiting this cute tea shop in central phoenix. The location was perfect for capturing this pretty maxi dress. The The Tea Pot is a darling little cottage like house that even has a playground in the back for the little ones.

I styled very delicate jewelry pieces with this dress because the print was a bit busy already. The shoes are my new favorite platform wedges from a successful trip to Last Chance!

This was my first time working with local photographer Sarah Hoag Photography. I was super excited to get back these images and I am obsessed! If you are a local blogger reach out to her for your photos.

    Dress: Shein–old; Similar–$25!; Similar

Wedges: Tory Burch–old , but lots of pairs on Tradesey; Similar

    Necklace: Kendra Scott

I hope you find pretty floral maxi dresses this Spring. Its my favorite look while it lasts, because soon it will be too hot to wear anything long here in Phoenix haha.

  • LBD with a twist

    LBD with a twist

    Hi!

I wanted to tell you about the cutest black dress that I found recently. The dress has a classic cut and feel, but the best part– it has a fun surprise. I love a black dress for work or a nice dinner and this dress has a fun pleated peek-a-boo detail which is just so unexpected.

The pleated detail is bordered by a fine line of colorful jewels which add a bit more of a pop. This dress runs a bit large though. I ordered a size 6 according to the website measurements, but I feel that the size 4 would have still been loose. I think this is a dress that the alterations lady can easily tuck in the sides so it fits more smoothly and not so wide.

The dress bodice has a higher neck line with a slight crew neck cut. I can totally wear this to work and not worry about moving around in it.  I added a pretty lace-up red trench coat for the rain that was falling that day, but also just because it looked cute!

    Dress: StyleWe

    Trench: old-Anthropologie; Similar

    Booties: Sold out: Similar

    Work Bag: Zara

    Necklace: Nordstrom

I actually love a good rainstorm. I wish it rained more here in Phoenix. It was 95 degrees today and I AM NOT READY FOT SUMMER (yes it needed to be in caps haha). I had so much fun twirling in this dress for this shoot. Shoot me your questions/comments down below!

I am super excited to feature some my Spring fashion wishlist items for you. I feel that my job is to give you Spring Fever haha! Two: This white clutch is perfect for Spring floral dresses. I love the laser cut pattern and the optional gold chain. Score! Exact item is linked: HERE

Three: Oh my gosh!! This top is my next must have. Look at that cold shoulder detail, but the sleeves bunched up like they are—sooo cute. #obessed. Exact item is linked HERE

Four: I have been looking for a floral maxi with a bit more movement. I like a certain draping for my maxi’s. I think this print and style is perfect for a Spring brunch!. Exact item is linked: HERE

  • Tea Skirt Flirty

    Tea Skirt Flirty

    Hi Lovelies

I recently had the chance to create an outfit for a tea shop inspired look. I wanted to keep it a bit less traditional and little more sexy. I think it came together pretty well!

This was such a fun shoot arranged by a fellow blogger Katrina Fox. She was nice enough to share her time with two local  super talented photographers with me. Check out Katrina’s blog is you don’t already follow her The Foxy Kat she is as sweet and she is stylish!

This was my first meeting with Rachel. She is a local Phoenix photographer that I met that day for like for 2 minutes before we started shooting lol. She was very open to my crazy ideas and had an easy way about her so I was able to have fun.

The wind cooperated nicely this day lol. I loved the high low cut of this skirt and this print so much. It was a lucky impulse buy just the day before too!

This gorgeous archway is right in front of this cute local Phoenix restaurant. The owners pulled up just as we started shooting and they were sooo sweet. Can you guess where this is? They serve my favorite gluten-free pizza!

Taffeta Skirt: in stores only–super sale! Rue 21

    Crop Top: old; Similar-Forever 21

    Heels: Nordstrom

    Photography: Rachel Fischer

Let me know what you think about this more flirty look vs a more classic tea time dress. Btw anybody have any guesses where this shoot was done?!?

  • Classic Black & White

    Classic Black & White

    Hello Loves!

I am super excited to share this outfit with you. I had been seeing a lot of gals wearing white jeans lately. My mom had taught me no white before Memorial Day or after Labor Day lol. I becoming a bit more of a fashion rebel nowadays haha!

This fun top is actually a one shoulder top. I love the silky feel of the fabric. It is an online only piece, which can sometimes be tough to choose. I ordered this in a US size 6 according to the descriptions. It was actually way too big. I wanted to make sure the sleeves wouldn’t be too short (pet peeve of mine). I think a size 2 would have fit perfectly, but oh well another item for the alterations lady.

I really loved the modernistic collar area. I styled this top with my new Jennifer Janesko earrings. She is a local Kansas City modern jewelry designer. I am obsessed with these sleek long bar threaders she gifted me. I will link my exact pair down below!

This outfit’s accessories have tons of unique details. Check out this clutch and the metal border.

  • Boho Spring

    Boho Spring

    Hello Loves!

Its Spring!! Pretty floral dress and pink dress are back, flowers are blooming and my allergies are in full swing haha. I love daffodils and tulips and I am crazy about light and airy dresses.

This was a cute flirty little dress to wear. The funny thing was that we got sprinkled on while shooting (sorry about the crazy au natural hair). As we finished shooting it really came down hard lol.

I love keeping the styling to a minimum. Dainty necklace and bigger more boho style earrings were the choices I went with. These exact Ettika earrings are so pretty. I was super excited to pick out my first piece from this jewelry company. You need to check them out. They specialize in handmade bohemian style. All so cute!

I  wanted to add my new Jord Wood Watch to really play off the earthy feel of this outfit. I kept the rings to just two more rustic ones from my collection.

These over the knee boots are from last fall but are still my favorites because of they have no heels! Sometimes I just need to be short lol.

Dress: sold out online–but still in some stores at Rue 21 ($7)–yes for real; Similar

    Boots: old; Similar ; Similar

    Earrings: Ettika

    Necklace: Kendra Scott

    Watch: Jord Wood Watch

I hope spring arrives to everyone soon because I seriously have Spring Fever!!
