    5 Amazon Winter Finds

Hello Lovelies! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Years! This past weekend I spent time relaxing at home and of of course online shopping! Well, I decided to find me some cute and affordable items on Amazon. I love the versatility at a great price point and the fact that Amazon can bring you everything straight to your door. So, I have come up with my top 5 items for winter from Amazon.

First was a shaket. Yes I am way late to the shaket obsession lol. I was not loving the look (kind of lumberjack), but I figured why not try one and see how I liked it on. I have to say I was surprised how I liked the overall fit. The fabric was super soft and really warm.

Price at $32.99 (with online coupon) it is such a good deal. It comes in 15 color combinations. The shaket link is here https://rstyle.me/+rxlzpUSGiZe5DfTMhRnVrA

Next is this pretty long sleeve dress. I love how flowy the skirt part is and it also comes with a removable belt. It comes in 26 different prints and colors. You can pair it with boots or with open sandals when summer arrives. Add a tan blazer and you are all set.

This long midi dress is priced at $27.99 (with online coupon right now) and it is linked here: https://rstyle.me/+KL1HlVBpUntfdd7hnCqzZQ

Ohhh, I found my new favorite, a long cardigan with fun color stripes. I love how warm this ended up being especially with the colder temps this week. It is perfect for layering with a long sleeve tee. This cardigan comes in 12 color combinations some with strips like mine and others more of larger color blocks.

This cardigan is on sale for $36.98 and is linked here: https://rstyle.me/+0LXR-ZwTurCkMetd9Bhwtw My boots were also an Amazon find and are $50.99 and are linked here: https://rstyle.me/+Dv7oQUJ9uw-aThdV52IoHQ By the way my boots come is different heel heights and lots of colors too.

Then I found this awesome waffle tee which is the perfect winter basic for layering under my new shaket or my new long cardigan. This waffle tee is also super soft and comes in 26 colors with long sleeves or even some with short sleeves too.

This waffle tee is such a good deal at $25.79 and it comes in all those colors and also a short sleeve version too. Find the link here: https://rstyle.me/+40uzliFIlnOhcBUZgKZ9rw

Finally, I found the cutest plaid dress. I love the flirty skirt and the overall fit on this dress. It comes in this fun red plaid print and comes in 7 different plaid color combinations. I’m loving the pink plaid one next!

This cute dress is priced at $31.99 and it is linked for you here: https://rstyle.me/+b54aSc723URPG8R0UkOv4A

So many fun things on Amazon right now. I am trying to buy pieces that I will wear over and over lately. I hope that this gives you some fun winter wardrobe ideas! Happy shopping friends and don’t forget to seek out All The Prettys!

Hofsas House & Carmel By The Sea

    Hey Babes!!

I  got back from my long weekend in Northern California last month and I’m still dreaming about it. It was just beautiful! I am so excited to finally be sharing all of my fun adventures with you all, BUT, I’m not sure where to start haha. I guess I’ll start at the beginning which started with planing this trip. I reached out to my fellow blogger and friend Melissa from The Melissa Lifestyle and invited her along when the Hofsas Hotel reached out and invited us for a stay. Well she immediately said “yes let’s go”! Then we went about booking our flights and Melissa arranged for our car rental and then the hardest part of all–planning how many outfits to take lol!!

I could not believe how cute the hotel looked in person. It is a charming Bavarian inspired architecture, which transports you to a European village, but conveniently located in California!

The hotel has the sweetest retro details including the vacancy sign which is just adorable, And yes there is a heated pool for real!

The prettiest painted mural wall leads you down the hill to the parking area in the back. It looks like a typical German village painting.

My luggage is from Delsey. I love the durability and no the white does not stain. Use Magic Eraser to get out any scuffs! My set is a bit older but here is the link for the new version.

True story…I was obsessed with these tree lined winding roads and thought it would be so cool to take photos in the middle of the road, but Melissa didn’t go for it LOL!!

This simple sundress is a perfect summer staple, very lightweight and the best thing it comes in tons of prints and its only $12!

Our room had this fun Dutch door, which let a cool breeze into the room and through the other side which let out to our private balcony. When Melissa I arrived to check-in the first day, we were met by the owner, Carrie Theis. She spent time telling us about her Grandmother, Donna, who started the Hofsas House back in the 1940s. Carrie knows the seaside town so well and even lives next door to the hotel! It was such a help to have Carrie point all the must see stops on the map of Carmel, such as the wine tasting rooms, restaurants, and shops to visit. Hofsas House is also dog friendly which I love! I was going to take one of my pups but at the last minute decided to keep them together (they get upset when they are separated, awww). Carrie had sweetly set a welcome bed for Whiskey and I was SO sorry that I had left him at home.

Our room had a beautiful view towards the ocean and overlooking the pool area. When we heard that the pool was heated we decided to check it out of course.

The cute swimsuit is from my go to summer retailer and all of their swim is always free shipping and returns. Well because you know that swimwear can be hard to figure out sometimes lol.

We decided to get dressed up and go explore Carmel finally after some relaxing time. I could not believe what a cute and charming town it was. The pictures do not do it justice! Every turn it a new Instagram worthy spot. The streets are lined with beautiful trees, shops and so many art galleries. I loved exploring the secret passageways!

I was in heaven surrounded by all the flowers and pretty spots. I added all my IG Stories to my Highlights real over on my IG profile All The Prettys so you can see more of Carmel By The Sea.

Next we made a stop at Sheid Vineyards where we really had a lot of fun!! We met the nicest gal, Marlee who was super helpful giving us wine tastings according to our likes. She even made suggestions about must visit places in the area, including the Refuge Spa and Folktale Winery.

    https://www.scheidvineyards.com/

We were there for a really long time haha, but I left with a new favorite wine, their 2012 Reserve Claret–it was amazing!  A big thank to Marlee who spent time with us explaining the different wines and letting us taste a few extras haha. The Hofsas House gifted us a bottle of the Scheid Chardonnay so we were set for the weekend! Jumpsuit and all details have been linked for you! This jumpsuit is now on major sale too.

The next day we ventured about 15 minutes down the road to visit Folktale Winery  We decided to have lunch (lots of gluten free choices!) and wine of course. It was such a pretty spot with gardens and even live music.

I’ve linked this sweet wrap dress along with several other items in this exact print for you! I might be planning on ordering more items in this exact print right now lol

The great thing about Carmel is that there are several little towns very close by within a short driving distance, such as Pebble Beach, Big Sur and Monterey. Melissa and chose to check out Monterrey and their wharf area. It is the cutest village like town lined with little shops that felt like I was transported to New England instead. We had seafood at a restaurant near the water and I had chai tea latte on the wharf (FYI it gets kinda of cold at night in California–Phoenix peeps beware)!

This cute jammie comes with short sleeves (like Melissa’s) or with spaghetti straps like mine. Melissa’s set was $14 and mine runs about $8!

The view from the balcony was beautiful (again check out my IG stories for the view without fog haha). This day is was foggy, but so cool too!

Finally, we got ready to check out and we loaded our big suitcases in the trunk of our cute rental car. Toyota was good enough to sponsor our car rental for the weekend. We got to drive a fun blue Toyota Camry XSE V6 that was perfect for our big suitcases full of waaaayyy too many outfits lol.

This gorgeous floral print dress was a splurge but so worth it! I’m trying to come up with more reasons to wear it haha.

After our beach time we stopped at the 5th Ave Deli (thank you so much–it was just delicious)and got a picnic lunch to eat on our drive back to the airport. We did make a stop at the cutest little Cherry Hut which sold strawberries, watermelon and of course fresh picked cherries.

I cannot fully describe how much fun I had during this trip. I even got to relax at a local spa, Refuge (no photos allowed and NO TALKING lol), we listened to great Jazz music at the Cypress Inn courtesy of the talented Debbie Davis, we saw lots of cute doggies everywhere (sorry Whiskey and Cleo next time for sure), and just spent good girlfriend time. Well that is it lovelies, don’t forget to check out Melissa’s post about our trip over on The Melissa Lifestyle . And I am saving up for my next trip to Carmel ASAP.

  • Hotel Adeline Staycation

    Hotel Adeline Staycation

    Hello Loves!

I know its been awhile! I  recently had the chance to stay and check out the beautiful Hotel Adeline in person. I excitedly packed myself up, oh and Cleo too, and off we went. Let the staycation begin!

The Adeline offers valet service to help you check in right at the front of the hotel. I had a lot of stuff for an overnight stay haha #sorrynotsorry.

Cleo was a bit unsure at first, but this was her first staycation without her brother. The front desk was so nice and had all my luggage sent up to my room so I could focus on Cleo.

We were greeted with snacks and prosecco which was so lovely! I should have taken photos right away of the room, but the puppy jumped up on the bed and had fun lol!

I just loved the mid century inspired details so much!

Dinner look all set out! I am loving anything tropical and this hat and top are so on point!

Cleopatra settled in for her staycation really quickly and loved looking out the big windows at the pool party going on downstairs!

We were excited to meet up with Siara, a fellow Phoenix blogger and friend for dinner.  And Cleo got to tag along of course! The Adeline really did change the grounds so much. Its so pretty and minimalistic. This property was an older motel before and it was tired looking and the grounds were over-run.

Truly love these details! (insert sparkle emoji here!)

Dinner was delicious, I of course ate nachos—I know huge shocker! They were SO good!

The Hotel Adeline has so many super cute touches throughout the property that are perfect spots for your instagram feed!

I mean really?!? This place is just interior eye candy. A special thanks to my friend Siara, if you don’t know here give her a follow here Siara Rochell. She was nice enough to take photos of Cleo and me on the day we checked in!

The next morning was an early morning shoot with Rachel, from Rachel Fischer Visuals  She came to take photos with me (and maybe an early morning cocktail was involved again lol). All photos from here on were taken and edited by Rachel. As usualm we had way too much fun. First, we got to sneak into the empty speakeasy to take some shots. The secret door is such a fun touch, but the actual room is so luxurious! The room is framed with heavy deep blue curtains that add elegance to the old-fashioned yet hip vibe of this place.

The dark wood bar area is just gorgeous! I knew I wanted to feature this pretty orange dot dress here!

I think that this pretty feminine dress is my favorite dress that I have bought in a long time! It is still available in all sizes and it also comes in solid white (on my wishlist). I will link it down below for you!

We walked over to the pool bar area for my next outfit! I love this tile and want this for my house!

You know i just had to get up here lol.  I love so much how these turned out. So get ready for photo overkill!

Their pool area is so sleek and just beautiful! I love the long views of this pool so much!

I am now longing for this “egg” chair from my staycation lol. I wonder if they would have let me bring it home as a souvenir lol

Each cabana area has a lot of private seating and they are so cute! I need to get some friends together and join in the weekend pool party’s here

Well babes, I hope you loved seeing my recap of my staycation/doggiecation lol of the Hotel Adeline. Cleo and I would love to visit again anytime. I love their signature cocktails and the food so much.

Hotel Adeline is was real. Thanks so much for having us!

  • Styling A Turtleneck Two Ways

    Styling A Turtleneck Two Ways

    Hello Loves,

It is FINALLY cold here in Phoenix..ok so not really compared to back home in Kansas City, where the high has been one degree most days. It sure feels cold here to me lol!  And with this it is now finally time to break out my sweaters. I will be styling my new hunter green turtleneck two ways. This is the first look that I will be featuring. With the second way coming soon to the blog!

They had a regular crew neck sweater too made of this same super soft wool. I don’t know about you, but I find I have to be careful with anything labeled wool–I get super itchy with the slightlest thing haha.

I tried to make this outfit workwear ready and a bit street style too. This was a fun outfit to style. I found this cute military inspired skirt with an asymmetrical front hem line and was going to save it to shoot with something red, but I tried it with this sweater and fell in love with the combination.

I grabbed my new favorite sock booties (see all about them in my previous post HERE ). Still loving the block heel which makes them so comfortable.

As usual, I have way too much fun during these shoots. This day we met up in front of the cutest converted house called The Teapot. This is now a darling little cafe which is totally Instagrammable. There is a great front yard with tables and a playground in the back for the littles.

I love the idea of mixing up my pieces and creating entirely different looks to get more miles out of them. I actually find it so much easier to buy a dress and its all set! I sometimes struggle with creating different looks from the same item. I have a blogger friend here in Phoenix whom I call the “Queen of Separates” she is truly amazing. Check out Neyda for real inspiration. I will keep trying from my end. I hope that you like this look! Oh and stayed tuned to the second way to style this green turtleneck really soon.

  • Kicking It In Sock Booties

    Kicking It In Sock Booties

    Hello Loves

I had to retire my short black boots this past fall and was looking for new ones. I had seen the trend with sock booties and wasn’t sure I’d love them. I tried some on during a Nordy’s run, but I wasn’t sold until I saw a fellow KC blogger raving about these!

The difference to me was that these have side zippers and the previous ones that I had tried on were pull ons. I also like the heel height and best of all they are so comfortable. Seriously sold!

I was so excited to be back this past fall at Phoenix Flea. Its grown so much over the last few years. I love seeing all my creative friends selling their amazing creations.

The food truck area was so big this year! This super cute pink truck had little tables set up all around.

I found this pretty floral corduroy skirt and paired it with my wine colored turtleneck. I was ready to explore the festival!

Sometimes its fun just being silly during these photoshoots!

I was so happy to find my favorite tea latte at the flea! If you are not local you can find the teas at Teaspressa

I might have eaten this macaron before even hitting my car haha!

This skirt was hard to find for some reason and now its back online lol! I usually only buy a-line skirts so I had to size up because I’m more hippie (and not in the good way) haha. Good news is the booties run TTS. Happy shopping ladies!

  • Classics & Plaid

    Classics & Plaid

    Hey Babes

It is finally cool enough to bring out the plaid here in Phoenix. I love the feel of the heavier fabric, but mostly the fun mix of colors that you can pick from!

I was looking for a fun location to shoot this that wasn’t tied to a Christmas only theme, then I remembered this fun retro inspired burger place in Northern Arizona. Loved this red classic car which turned into a fun back drop!

Isn’t it funny how sometimes things just work out and become kinda fun, not planned.

Loved the authentic gas station/car hop feel of this place so much.

The classic red and blue print of the plaid is for sure cute, but I chose the dress because of the uneven hemline. I paired the look with simple tall stone/grey colored boots. My Ray Bans and some simple circle earrings. Easy and cute too!

I love the fun throw back feel with this shoot and the price point of the dress haha! I will link everything for you down below. Happy Shopping!

  • Country Chic

    Hello Lovelies,

I am back with the cutest floral dress yet. I saw it online and thought I would like it ok, but when I tried it on it was so much cuter!

C’mon and follow me y’all! Haha! So my friend Jacqueline and I made our way to Cottonwood a few weeks ago. I had originally wanted to shoot this dress at a fall/pumpkin festival, but there was nothing like this going on.

We found a gorgeous clearing with tall pine trees, but the Park ranger station was literally right across from there. The ranger wanted to charge us to park and take photos there, so we made our way back on the public road and found this ranch. The owner was the nicest lady. She was super sweet and willing to let us explore the ranch before they even opened that night!

Ok so I don’t know about you, but I have always wanted to take photos by a red barn! lol this was amazingly perfect.

This darling floral dress really popped against the red barn. I love the lightweight cotton fabric too.

The ranch has an Old West vibe for sure, which for those of you that know me is my thang!  I love country music, bluegrass and my Sarsaparilla! Haha

Just hanging out trying to not get put in the jail!

This place was truly the cutest!

This was an accidental find and I was happy that it worked out this way. I am glad to have creative moments like these to feature cute outfits for you! Thank you to the Blazin M Ranch for letting the crazy blogger girl hang out for an afternoon!

  • Fashion Week Finale Night w/ Christine Adar

Fashion Week Finale Night w/ Christine Adar

    1. Hello Lovelies!!

Its finally here! I am so excited to share my night pretending to be a princess haha! I met designer Christine Adar this summer, and I really loved hearing her story. She is truly living her passion. This gal is super talented. I went on Thursday, the first night of Phoenix Fashion Week, to do a dress fitting.  She was sewing a custom dress from scratch in her hotel room for Julie Werner. The fabric was an embossed wine colored leather. It was incredible! I will have photos of this down below.

When Friday afternoon came, I rushed from work with my friend and photographer, Jacqueline, to Talking Stick Resort. We had to beg our way into a valet spot (they were already full by 5:20pm, and no judgments on still stopping for Dutch Bros and wasting like 35 min there lol). I had so many bags full with shoes, hair stuff, makeup, etc. I needed help parking. Luckily, the valet guy took pity (probably just got tired of hearing my sad whiny story)!

I finally arrived to Christine’s hotel room and it was buzzing with sewing, girls getting makeup done, hair being styled and dresses! I was in heaven! Then it was my turn to get ready.

My dress was a dream (albeit a bit more risque than I usually do)! I just tried to do it justice.

The sweetest Aleigha, who has modeled for Christine in her print campaigns helped me with my hair.

The final look was a bit Old Hollywood with Grammy’s inspired style (or something like that)!

This dress was so eye catching. Just walking from the room to the main area, I got stopped many times by people saying how much they liked the dress. I think the dress was pretty super-hero pose worthy don’t you?!

So part of the fun attending fashion week is getting to see other industry people at these events. I love seeing how everyone brings up their own fashion game for couture night!

The Smart Blondes, Leslie & Lindsey are always on point! They are so glam!

Left to right: Andrea (a friend of Christine’s, Christine Adar, Harpreet Maan, a local Phoenix designer, Aleigha, a model, and me.

Part of the fun is walking the red carpet, the press line! I loved being part of this group of ladies.

We were all wearing Christine Adar originals here in this photo!

The designer herself, Christine Adar in one of her own designs. So beautiful!

Remember the leather custom gown?!? Well here is Julie Werner looking so fierce! It fit her literally like a glove. It was still being sewn onto her when I left the room. So crazy good!

I would love to wear her gowns everyday! Like a Target run maybe lol

The runway show was pure perfection. I love every single gown, but wait for the red finale dress!

Ok now I LOVE red! I’m thinking I need to wear this dress next year huh!??! Please!

Well that’s a wrap for Phoenix Fashion Week 2017! I hope that you like the #bts and some of the live red carpet shots. With Thanksgiving coming up in a couple of days, I’m truly thankful for this year’s amazing experiences! I was so happy to be a part of this amazing group of gals.

I’ll be linking Christine’s information down below. If you have an upcoming event reach out to her she is very easy to work with and does not charge crazy pricing even though you’d be getting a one of a kind creation for your special day. Can’t wait for 2018 #PHXFW! Special thank you to Brian Hill and all his team for including me this year!

    Sunset Cliffs in Ellie Activewear

    Hello Lovelies

This month I received my Ellie Box just in time for my trip to San Diego. I was so excited to see that it was more atheleisure style for the November box.

I went to visit my friend Anna  who lives in Ocean beach. We went for a walk along Sunset Cliffs for the first time. Last time I visited she took me for a quick drive by this area and I knew I  wanted to go back. I can’t believe how pretty it is to hike/walk there. Everyone knows I’m not a fan of hiking here in Phoenix, the rocky trails are just waiting to reach out and twist my ankle lol.

This view is so amazing! And my outfit from this month’s Ellie box contained this cute legging and white top, but the real surprise was this black wrap. It is made from a non-wrinkle fabric, so perfect for travel. I wore it on the plane ride back the next day too!

As you can see it was a bit windy that day haha! I actually loved the ocean breeze. I miss living near the beach so much. I used to live in South Florida, but the California coastline is so very different. Florida is all flat along the beach. Not here the cliffs are amazing!

The trails wind up through beach line, which is actually high up on the cliffs. I just loved this path which was a bit easier to explore than right up along the edge lol.

The white long sleeve tee has a mesh back and is the softest tee I have ever owned. Obsessed with it!

The leggings are a marbled tone with fun criss cross cut outs. So cute!

Just magical! I could walk along there everyday! I’m always game to visit San Diego. I love spending time with my friend Anna and her little daughter. It is so good spending time with people who have known you for years. All the heart eyes to them for hosting me (ok I basically said I’m coming lol—love them!)

This is the box to get and you get the three pieces for only $39.95. Don’t miss out. Seriously my fave of all of the months so far!

PHX Fashion Week 2017 Night One

    Hello Loves!

It was so fun being back at the PhxFW 2017 this year! I look forward to this amazing show each year. I love seeing all the new designs, but as a fashion blogger I think styling my own outfit is the best part lol.

The red carpet experience is the chance to get featured in local publications and photos for my blog!

I chose a leather like corset style dress with my leopards print clutch. I wanted wear statement jewelry such as this gorgeous Dylanlex necklace.

I love running into other local bloggers and seeing everyone’s outfits. The part I really like about being a blogger is a chance to show my creativity.

From left to right: Siara, Kate Berkley, Neyda, Kat and me. If you don’t already follow these ladies click on their links above. They are not only the sweetest, but talented!

This year the photos were tough to get because I had some very tall people sitting in front of me. I got just a few of the designs on the runway without the back of the people’s heads in most of my shots lol. Below are some of my favorite more feminine styles (most designs this night were more urban and masculine–not really my thing).

It was a great opening night and I had the best time. My outfit was a dress that I had bought a few years ago, but had never worn before haha. You know you’ve done that it too. The necklace is linked in this post HERE!!! Clutch can be found HERE!!! Shoes (old–Coach); Bangle: David Yurman

I am working hard on Nights 2 and 3 which will feature behind the scenes on my collaboration with Christine Adar. Can’t wait for you all to read all about this!
