This past Sunday, my friend, Patti and I started our day out by having breakfast at a local eatery called Snooze AM. This place is very popular and located in the Biltmore area of town, in the Town and Country shops.

We picked this place because they started offering more gluten free options.
After breakfast, we headed over the the Roosevelt district. Their historical home association organizes a home tour once a year.

This year twelve homes were opened to the public for touring. Also, some local food trucks and vendors who sell handmade goods were present that day.
Some of the homeowners also participate in a classic car group for the neighborhood. These cars were displayed in front of their respective homes.
Phoenix has a number of local historic neighborhoods that organize a variety of events. The next upcoming home tour will be December 6th & 7th, 2014. The F. Q. Story home tour will have a special take featuring a holiday theme. There will be Dickens carolers and luminarias. Check out their website for times and more information.
