Target Home Refresh Spring 2022
Hello All! I am in full crazy mode right now. First, I am redoing my front yard (yes I have help with all the heavy rocks). Also, my much neglected side yard will finally get a facelift. Next, I am re-doing my front guest bathroom at the same time haha and my living room needs new furniture too. Ok so I have no focus and I am literally all over the place, but I have found the cutest pieces from Target for you all! I ordered my new sideboard furniture for under my TV from this list and I can’t wait for it to arrive. The perfect home refresh for Spring 2022 is below for you.

I am leaning towards buying some core pieces to add to what I already have like more pillows of course! So many choices for pop of earthy pinks to more beige neutrals too.

My new sideboard that I finally ordered is this exact one, well two actually. I have had hard time finding one “long-enough” piece that I got 2 identical ones and will run it side by side like this photo. It is from the new Studio McGee line.

You can’t forget some kitchen upgrades either. This cutlery set and the wood organizer are my exact ones I got for thanksgiving hostess duties. I love them!

Well I hope I found something you would love to try out in your home. I am really liking the more simple designs that Target has in their Studio McGee line and the Opalhouse line too. Some of my picks are the Joanna Gaines designs which she always has great basics. Have so much fun shopping like I did!

Me and My Pack

Hey Friends!!

This is such exciting news! My fun little dog pack and I paired with Amazon Prime Video to help promote their new original series The Pack. I jumped at the chance to be a part of this campaign with my three little fur-babies. Cleo, Whiskey, Sophie and I will show you how much fun you can have with your Pack too!

So our big announcement is that this Friday, November 20th, Amazon Prime Video will be releasing their new original series, The Pack. This is a new global unscripted series that celebrates the unrivaled bond between dogs and their human companions. The host will be Lindsey Vonn, the Olympic Gold medalist. How cool is that?!?! Well what my pack and I get to show you is how much fun we have together. So here we go!

We were sent a surprise box in the mail and the only thing we knew it was going to have was mega entertainment value for the pups. Well ‘haha the joke is on me’ the pups thought the box itself was fun!

They all came running when they heard crinkle paper and went crazy sniffing away. The suspense was real. The box itself was really cute. The show will feature twelve teams of dogs and their humans on an epic adventure across multiple continents. It is a reality competition show.

It was great to learn that Amazon Prime Video and the show itself The Pack designed the show to benefit charity. The show will award a life-changing $750,000 for the winning duo and their charity, $500,000 to the winners plus an additional $250,000 prize amount for the animal charity of their choice. I mean this sounds so amazing!!

Cleo was the most curious! She loves dog toys. She tends to snatch them away from Whiskey and Sophie lol. Oh well they will figure it out.

Whiskey would like to thank our new friends at The Pack for the box haha! And Cleo was just not sure about this one.

He is really such a ham… he is always ready to strike a pose. The pups were super excited about the fun pop up tent and the doggie fun/run tunnel. They loved the doggie play pen best I think though.

Seriously everything was so shiny and new! My helpers were full of suggestions on how to best build this out.

“I always feel like somebody’s watching me”. Its always the quiet ones…Whiskey!!

We were having the best time that we decided to take this outside. I literally packed up my “pack” and our stuff and see what happened next.

I opened up the doggie tunnel and I tried seeing if I could get Cleo (she is the most adventurous) to go through it. Well it took some coaxing but look at her go!

Whiskey later tried once haha. At least he gave it a shot my silly boy.

Sophie is the newest to the bunch. She is still figuring out how to play with the other two but she is so much better. Sophie is a rescue pup who was adopted out as a little puppy and returned back to the rescue group after three years due to “severe” behavior issues. She has been a challenge but with patience and love she is a sweet and confident little girl after just 6 months with us.

Whiskey was a Maricopa County Animal Control pup that I saw online. My friend Allison went with me because I had never been to the “county” before. I wanted to bring ALL the doggies home with me. Whiskey was found walking the streets in South Phoenix. He was 3 years old at the time. He is my quiet one unless he feels he needs to be a BIG dog lol.

Lastly is my Cleo, she was one of 4 puppies that I rescued in Cottonwood, Arizona. A lady’s dog had had puppies and she was giving them away. She has been one wild ride! She is a bit high strung but always HAPPY! She is the sweetest dog and yes I do know where her siblings are. They all having amazing families! And haha she got me AGAIN right in the face.

I hope this post put a smile on your face. Having my own little pack is really been the best (even when they destroy puppy beds, toys, pee on my curtains, etc) lol! Summer Jumpsuit

Hello Lovelies!

I love summer outfits and this super chic jumpsuit is no exception. This was a fun shoot which had me imagining being in South of France while sitting on these cute rattan chairs. I’m going to have to get some of these chairs for my house and make a French bistro in my backyard!

This bistro is located at Kierland Commons. It is delicious and has a secret courtyard inside too.

This outfit I accessorized with several pieces from Rachel Zoe’s Box of Style The sunglasses were inside of my Summer 2016 bix and are by an L.A. based company YHF . The clutch is from an Instagram friendly shop Le Boutique Shop

The earrings are from a local artist who’s jewelry business can be found Pure Life Jewelry on Etsy.

I know I promised the info on these SHOES!! Well here it is and I got mine from Nordstrom and the best news they are on sale. YUP, sale! You can also find them here and on sale too at Amazon. The white jumpsuit is from Tobi. It does run a bit big around the torso so check their measurements carefully.

Red, White and Blue

Happy 4th of July Y’all!!

I love this holiday and all the history behind it. Back in school I totally geeked out on American History. Its a great holiday to be celebrating this land and even better during a long weekend this year.

This top is super cute and can be pared with a cute jeans skirt or white shorts for the rest of the summer on repeat!

The crop off the shoulder top can be found at Urban Outfitters. I love my new top and when I went into the store all tops like this were an extra 30% off!.

The red skirt is old from Nanette Lepore but here are some similar ones Luxe–Yves Saint Laurent or more less expensive Boohoo (less than $30!!)

The flag scarf is one I picked up at Springfield in Spain LOL. Yes only I would buy an American flag scarf while in Spain. Here is a similar option William B for less than $10!

The location was beautiful for todays’ shoot. It was the outdoor patio at the Tommy Bahama restaurant at Kierland Commons.

The Mai Tais are delicious and so pretty too with an orchid in each one which is lovely. It feels like you are on vacation!

I had so much fun with this outfit. Loved working with a new photographer Beth Ann from BBandR Photography —stayed tuned for more work with us!!

Flamingo Floatie Info!

Happy Summer!

So I’ve been asked by some where I got my flamingo floaties. I got them last year for the Bloguettes Instacamp. These flamingos had quite the adventure over at the Saguaro LOL.

The cute cups are from the Oh Joy line from Target (again from last summer). I was really hoping she would have more this year (boo!)

Ok here is the link—same ones (GREAT quality) Amazon…..there were 12 of them. I figured at least they would look cute empty just floating alone in the pool, but they really do work. You need cans of champagne or pink SOLO cups which can be found HERE , which are the perfect size for these flamingo floaties!

Summer Lovin!

Hey There Sunshine!
I recently picked up some goodies that I plan on having on repeat this summer! See below….

The coral tie on sandals are my most favorite thing I have bought in awhile. I found them the perfect height and really comfortable too. Macy’s has a few colors which I may be getting a second pair when I decide which color (sshh don’t tell).

The colorful caftan is from Rachel Zoe’s Box of Style. This is by far my favorite subscription box. I have really liked everything, which is weird because I can be a bit choosey. Box of style comes out once every season. Its like Christmas in a box! (they still have a few left of these—hurry!) Box of Style will give you great deal $10 off when you use this link!!

The sunglasses are also from Box of Style by a Los Angeles based company called YHF Los Angeles. These sunnies were tested by Rachel Zoe’s staff members and both boys and girls can pull off this style!

The earrings from Target are nickel free and less than $8. I love the ice blue colors with these.

The ring is a great cocktail ring size from Banana Republic. I love how luxe it looks with a simple outfit.

During the summer you need a good waterproof mascara. I spend on skin care but for basics like this—its drugstore all the way. ULTA carries most all regular brands and you can use you coupons and points too. I got this fairly recently and really like it, better than the expensive Dior one that I bought a few months ago.

The polish is my go to brand Essie, which is found in many different drugstores, but this color is one that is in store only. It is called Van D’go. I usually get most of my Essie polishes at Target, but Ulta can carry different colors that other stores don’t have, and can you can use your coupons and points (the best!!)

Lastly, the laser cut shoes in a natural color has been hard to find, but Target had this perfect pair. I know right!?!?! The heel is a bit taller than I like (way too many dance classes have made the ball of my feet very thin). I placed a shoe insert in each and good to go (and dance!)

Summer Tassels

Hello Prettys!

I recently picked up my first official tassel item! Yes I know I’m late to the party (psst I don’t have anything pompom either—don’t tell).

I really love the ease and soft cotton fabric of this dress. This dress was a steal at less than $28 Target. It is perfect for some pool time or just running around in. The sandals are my summer favs from last year Sole Society –these are Similar .

This sleeve…..I love the detail with the tassels!

I am so excited to tell you that his hat is back for the summer! Nordstrom and this summer’s version is packable which let me tell you is the best so your hat does not get crushed.

This sweet pup was walking with her owner that day. Little Stella has Cushing’s Syndrome but it doesn’t slow her down!

Summer Florals

Hello Prettys!

It is summer weather here in town and I live in sundresses everyday. I really like easy to move in dresses with pretty prints.

I really love the back of this dress with the open back!

And these shoes are my favorite for summer and on repeat for sure. The heel size is on point!

This necklace is a great neutral color that goes with everything even a bright print dress like this one.

Ice Blue

Hello Prettys!

It was soooo hot here in Phoenix today. My car was under a shade tree and still read in at 118F! So, naturally I wanted to wear something light and cool today so I grabbed this cute sundress from my wardrobe.

I went to meet my friends at the Pineapple Triangle event today. This is a shop local event that is special because a portion of the proceeds gets donated to the artist/creative’s charity of choice. This cool blue was perfect on a super sunny day!
