Last night I had small part in performing in PHXFLAMEnco. This was a new concept mixing dance, music, and art. It was held at the Ice House in downtown Phoenix located at 429 W. Jackson. This is an older building that is now being reused for events of all kinds, such as fashion shows, weddings, and last night’s cultural performance.
As the sun set people began arriving for the event. Vendors set up their tables and the art had been hung for display in the multiple rooms.
Artists displayed their beautiful work throughout the different rooms
My super awesome friend Veronica came to the show to support me and be my photographer LOL. Thank you AMIGA!!
The stage was set for the dancing to begin!
As night fell it began.
My group number was fun. You can pretty much only see my shadow on the wall LOL.
This guy was super unexpected and pretty cool!
The location was so pretty I had some fun taking a bunch of photos after the event
The professional dancers were amazing as always. My friend Yumi La Rosa, Carlos Montufar and the Flamenco Por La Vida Company, Chris Jacome and Roger with their beautiful guitar playing.
Such a fun event. I hope you all can check out the next one!
Xoxo,
Marisol
