Ellie Activewear Turns Pink

Hello Loves,

This month Ellie Activewear has given their subscribers three choices of outfits to pick from. I, of course, saw the pink floral print and knew this was the one for me!

Of course, my workout (aka partner in crime), Cleo was up for an adventure to the park. She is so funny and has a lot of energy. For those of you who don’t know Cleo’s story. I was working in Northern Arizona last summer and a lady was on the Main Street giving away free puppies. I was completely freaking out and got her number, because they were all soooo cute! The day I met Cleo I actually liked the boy pup (her brother Butler, aka Mr. Darcy). I called the lady the next morning. She agreed to let me take all the puppies and find them homes here in Phoenix, through a dog rescue, Paw Town Angels that I had fostered with earlier in the summer (my parents kept that pup Lola btw she is in Kansas).

If you are catching on I am the world’s worst foster haha! So back to Cleo’s story, the lady who’s dog had gotten pregnant met me at the Wal-Mart parking lot after work and she showed up with not two puppies, but four!!

I was shocked and slightly panicked lol. She handed me a cardboard box and left. I had to then drive back to Phoenix with four puppies crying and trying to climb out of the box for the next hour and a half!!

It truly was my six year old self’s dream come true!! Puppies galore!!

So I had four puppies and Lola and Whiskey all at my house! It was so fun. As I got to know all the puppies each day I realized that Cleopatra was the CRAZY one. Yup, that’s why I chose her. I like my dogs to be “on fire” at all times lol.

Her siblings all went to amazing homes, Spencer and John adopted little fluffy Stella (the runt haha), Kim and her family, adopted Butler (he is so super happy and loved), and a real nice couple adopted Gidget. These pups in case you are wondering are Jack Russel/Maltese mixes. I later found out they are actually called Jacktese!!! Yes, that’s really a thing, google it!

So, I am one of those people who takes my furbabies everywhere (ok almost everywhere)! She does have some cute outfits. I will link Cleo’s t-shirt for those Charlie Hustle and KC fans. I think this this month’s Ellie is by far my favorite. The details are so pretty and feminine. Look at the straps on the tank! And the pink allowed me to match Cleo too.
